If you are self employed and want to finance the car in your own name, we will be asking for your most recent individual tax return (ITR) which depending on the time of year it could be the previous years tax return or the current years tax return. Alternatively If the Car is for “Business Use” we have finance options for you too.

In most cases we can use your drivers licence as proof of residence. If you haven’t updated the address it’s ok, a recent utility bill with your name and current residential address will be fine.

If you are renting or are a homeowner the Bank may ask for a recent council rates notice or a rental agreement, if renting.

Drivers licence and Medicare Card is the standard. But thanks to recent improvements in security technology in most cases you no longer need to have your identification certified by a Justice of the Peace (JP) or an authorised person.

During the approval process there may be instances were we require more information like bank statements, a better understanding of your assets and liabilities or work situation.

Once a pre-approval is in place we will need a tax invoice from the dealership you are purchasing the car from. For a private sale car purchase we will help you with the tax invoice and guide you through the process.
